A 17 year old volleyball player Claire Crawford goes into full cardiac arrest while playing a match . She hits the volleyball then collapses to the floor. CPR was not working but a quick thinking school administrator runs in with a heart defibrillator. This saves her life and Claire makes a full recovery.

Houston father of 5, Louis Erebia, was killed trying to help his son get his stolen truck back.

Louis’ son was carjacked at gunpoint while putting gas in his Chevy Silverado.

Using GPS, Louis and a family friend tracked the stolen truck to a Chevron near Airline Drive in north Houston.

They say there was a crash with the stolen truck, the suspects bailed out and ran, and Louis chased them on foot.

During that chase, the suspect pulled a gun and opened fire.

Louis was shot and later died at the hospital, and the family friend was also hit but survived.

His family describes him as a husband, father of five, and grandfather who “laid down his life for another,” and they’re asking the public to “stand with us and demand justice” so he isn’t remembered as just another headline but as a protector who died trying to defend his family.

Deputies say the suspect, 37-year-old London Hogan Sr, is now charged with murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and aggravated robbery.

Court records describe Hogan as having an “extensive criminal history.”
