- K-12 Educator

1. Submit a cover letter (max 500 words).
2. Include up to 3 letters of support.

The 2023 LCF/Klett Award for Sustainable Development Education in the World Language Classroom recipients are Kathleen Forrester of the University of Michigan, Heidi Lechner of Libertyville High School (IL), and The Global Classroom Project in Fairfax Public Schools (VA)!
This week, we are proud to attend the awarding of the first annual @LangConnectsFdn & Klett World Languages Award for Sustainable Development Education.
This award acknowledges language educators (K-20) and individual students (college or university) who have successfully integrated the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into their curriculum and projects, fostering global awareness and social responsibility among their students and peers – the future leaders of our world.
The ACTFL & LCF Awards Ceremony will be taking place this Friday, November 17th at 6:30pm the Marriott Marquis Chicago.
