Paystack used to be the poster child of African fintech excellence. Now they’re out here asking for CAC files, shareholder documents, and a matching corporate account number every single time you add a new profile to the same account you already own. 😭
Let that sink in.
You have 5 SaaS products? Congratulations. You now need 5 separate CAC certificates and 5 different corporate account numbers. For one payment provider. That you’re already verified on.
This isn’t compliance. This is bureaucracy cosplaying as compliance and it is genuinely killing SaaS growth in Nigeria one frustrated founder at a time.
The painful part is there’s no good alternative that matches Paystack’s infrastructure. So you’re stuck. Complaining to a wall while they keep adding friction to a product that was supposed to remove it.
Someone needs to walk into that office and ask who approved this policy with a straight face. Because I have questions. 😂
