On @SABCNews ICN CEO @HowardCatton sounds the alarm bell for our #healthsystems: “#Nurses quit because of #pandemic and those left are protesting because they haven’t felt valued & respected. The risk of this snowball effect is that we could now start losing these nurses too.”
I keep hearing complaints about the swabbing centres being booked out. No complaints about the wait for results though. The laboratory staff country wide are testing thousands of swabs daily. We’re unseen. Please don’t forget about us. We’re exhausted too.
Congrats to @Naloga on playing your part in the #FrontlineChoir you played a blinder and did us proud! Fair play to all our HSE colleagues who took part. Great concert and performances from all. Hoping some staff choirs can get back soon. #Sing4HealthyIreland

I'm delighted to share this beautiful recording of 'What a Wonderful World' by Sorcha Ryan, daughter of my dear colleague @DrMikeRyan. He shared it with me to keep my spirits high...and it worked! In these difficult times, I hope Sorcha's song brings you as much joy as it did me.
We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Mr Amged El-Hawrani, RCSI Class of 1993, due to #COVID19.
