I’m not usually prone to footballing outbursts, but days like these don’t come around very often.

So, with England taking on Argentina in today’s World Cup semi-final, I spent a couple of hours putting together this rough little tribute to Jude Bellingham. Built in Cinema 4D, animated with Mixamo, finished in After Effects, and set to one of the greatest football songs never written… Hey Jude.

I wanted to document a little of my process recently.

This is just the creation of a single mark, but I wanted to show the iteration and consideration that goes into every stage. A logo isn’t just the final outcome. The research, exploration and constant decision-making are the craft that hones a mark.
