@rohank1982@EGTVEgal This and also the fact that they claim to be the best team in the world but play like 2008 Stoke. United knew they were rubbish and called it out, Arsenal think they’ve reinvented the wheel and are elite
@RaminNasibov Either Oregon Trail or a game that I can’t remember the name off but you were a character in a castle and you could get power ups like a strong gust of wind (image was a guy with big cheeks puffing out air)
@pompeanut1898 First English team I can remember winning the UCL was Liverpool (as in actually watching) and wanted Liverpool to win even as a West Ham fan. But since then fans of some teams have become unbearable and so I don’t want them to win. Buzzing for Palace and Villa winning says enough
@henrywinter I will never understand how players feel they can reward themselves in effect by just moving club because of a situation they helped to happen. You tank one team and then get rewarded by another? Doesn’t sit right with me
@Chris_Mills_ We all know Sullivan will sell to the worst person possible to make himself look better. Runs the club like it’s still 20 years ago so won’t be able to fix it himself and won’t sell to anyone who will do it better than him
@IrishIron32 I’m just endlessly fed up of the club being run by people who only want to look out for themselves. There’s no project or planning of what we’re going to do going forward and all transfers are done with the vibe of “but what’s it worth to me?” Instead of properly scouted signings
@bkwhufc Leeds went down and never came back for years and even went to league one because they were run into the ground. We’re in debt, we’re selling most of the squad and there’s zero faith in the owner to get it right
So we’re a badly run football club… which is what we’ve all been saying for years but only now we’ve gone down does the media want to mention it… thought it was the fans fault?
Almost like we’ve actually been talking sense for years. I’ve seen relegations in my lifetime but never felt so apathetic about it. Until the owner goes, the club will continue to die and lose its soul
It's an absurd end to an utterly surreal day, which reflects a total lack of self-awareness, humility or recognition as to just how badly West Ham United have failed their many loyal supporters, not just today, but for much of the past decade.
They may return to the top flight before long, but it will take some time — and many, many changes — for fans to believe in their club again. They sold their soul for the Championship.
After relegation from the Premier League, @TimSpiers explains why West Ham are completely broken.
