We Jamaicans are culturally conditioned to accept poor service.
Never realised this until my wife (a foreigner) pointed it out.
I've been living outside of Jamaica for 12 years, and coming back has made vivid accepted slackness.
We don't demand accountability and get nothing
Many are totally dependent on their income to make ends meet, and a challenge will put their job security into question.
I've seen an employee beg and bawl for his job after being confronted for bad behavior with a customer.
Many employers are not aware of their attitude.
