On Sunday December 10th, 5740 traveled to Troy Hill in Pittsburgh to help support @NCForeverTrue with their Christmas on Troy Hill event. Families were offered dinner, gifts, and fun! At our robotics station, kids were able to drive our robot and make their own buttons #FRC

Yesterday December 11th, @NCForeverTrue hosted its Christmas on Troy Hill event. 5740 held a booth in which the attendees were able to get up close and personal controlling Updog and make their own buttons! #COTH #NCHS #FRC #FIRSTRobotics

On December 1, 2022, the NC Robotics Team met with General Thompson, Vice Chief of Space Operations, United States Space Force. General Thompson was in Pittsburgh to celebrate the 3rd Anniversary of Space Force and hosted our team for a Q and A, followed by the Penguins game.

Yesterday 5740 went to PRN Discovery Day hosted by @RoboPGH. This was a great opportunity for students to engage in their community and interact with several businesses in the STEM field. #FRC #STEM #PRN #FIRST

11/2 5740 went to the Beaver Methodist Church to help daises and brownies receive their robotics badge. They used a Lego Boost to code and built their own juice box robots.

This Wednesday, 5740 traveled to the Penn Mar Plaza Senior Living Community to host another Senior's FIRST. Not only did we demo our robot, but also taught them about cyber security and what it means to be safe online. #FIRST #FRC #Robotics #seniorliving

In news of the sad, shocking death of NBA Legend Kobe Bryant, 5740 would like to share the inspiration he gave us in naming our 2018 robot. We named the robot Kobe because of the Kobe-like way cubes were shot into the switch. RIP Kobe💜💛 #KobeBryant #FIRST #FRC

Tough Loss in the finals today at CORI with @BONDS5811 and @PiBoticsFRC3814 after 4 final matches. BONDS had a motor break after Final 1 and fixed it for Final 3. Tremendous effort by them, fantastic stuff! First final appearance in our teams history, thank you both for the fun!
