@WolvesInVI I think a lot of it depends more on how long someone’s been a Lamelo fan. Dating back to his Chino Hills days I feel like the hype/fandom started there and has carried onto his pro career.
@commishconley@ChristopherHine Brother I don’t think Lamelo gives a damn enough or has the IQ to know any better. Got rid of the cancer Randle was for a dumber version of him.
@Auggie24Will@TWolvesLead@BenjayCreates Lamelo is one of the most talented offensive PGs yes, but the other end of the floor and winning attributes are worrisome. I have no complaints of getting rid of Naz, but to depend on Lamelo as a true #2 guy on a WINNING team isn’t realistic IMO.
@All_Knowing_Owl@TWolvesLead@BenjayCreates All fair and true to say, but there’s more needed on the opposite end for a guy of Lamelo’s caliber. He’ll need to take a big step defensively effort wise and mature with his shot selection if wolves want a chance to get back to the WCF
@romans11932@TWolvesLead@BenjayCreates I wouldn’t want to give up my assets for an “if” guy… regardless I believe this will play out poorly regardless of health
@CashWater_@kkarn7@_MNMuse Athleticism doesn’t matter if you don’t use it. Lamelo and DLo are similar athletes too Lamelo just has a few more inches in height
@kkarn7@_MNMuse His inefficiencies and play style is very DLo-esque. Poor FG% and shot chucker with no defensive interest. That recipe doesn’t equate to winning hoops.
@mlekoday@MBrownie09@ChristopherHine That’s just not what he asked lmao “pick anyone in the nba”. It’s also not about Rudy it’s about a fit next to Ant, which Lamelo isn’t a great fit IMO.
@amicsta I can see the appeal offensively but Lamelo isn’t the solution. Not a pure PG in any regards and doesn’t have any interest on the defensive end. Makes the wolves entertaining but a non-contender going forward.
