if anything though i don't think it's helping other than as a temporary distraction that ultimately makes me feel worse in the long run. many such "coping mechanisms"
i dont think twitter makes me depressed i think i just go on here more when i am to force myself into a paralytic state of dissociation so i stop thinking ab how much i wanna hurt myself. then twitter reminds me of all the reasons i feel that way & from there its just cyclical
@JoyMoone it's less about "he's kinda like you" and more "dont tear him down bc your struggles are intertwined with one another as you are both suffering the consequences of a cysheteropatriarchial society in ways that intersect and he is your comrade, not your oppressor"
@JoyMoone no, the fallacy was claiming that people with contradictory identities are inherently "self hating" and then citing people who dont really fall into the group of people i was talking about
@JoyMoone i mean once again, the original post is directed towards a transphobic gender non-conforming lesbian. the context for how lesbianism fits into this convo is, like, right there
@JoyMoone lesbianism has a rich history history of gender non-conformity and inclusivity of non binary people. ask a he/him butch on t what lesbianism means to him, i can't really explain that to you as im not a lesbian
@JoyMoone i probably interact with a lot more non binary people than you do, naturally. i don't honestly believe you would invalidate someone's identity, i was moreso just frustrated with your use of rhetorical fallacy
@JoyMoone it's not about "going agab" oml it's about having a contradictory experience of identity/experiencing overlap between two separate identities
