Tropicana Freak bred by André, owner of Pro-Vida Cannabis & Clone House Seeds in Brazil. We are thrilled to collaborate with them and share some of our latest breedings as they have done with us! 🇧🇷x 🇺🇸🤝💚
Came back from a trip and she got so big when I was gone. Grown in the window with some seedling tray lights to keep her in veg till I'm done with the shape. And I just saw pistils, so it a girl!

Day 30 flower for the freaks, who show no signs of slowing 😀 @hielevationseed has great genetics!💯 I hope you get stoned today and happy growing everyone ✌️
In 2019/2020 my dad decided to backcross Freakshow to the original Pineapple Express genotype “Sugar Pine 2 #11” He did this to stabilize the line further and lock in a few traits he deemed more desirable. The Pineapple Express Bx is what we call “Supafreak”. Though the leaf morphologies still vary a ton in each line, Supafreak’s aroma is more fruity and sweet where as the original Freakshow is heavily pinene dominant.
These are Freakshow F-3, the point where Shapeshifter had stabilized and locked in the pinnate leaf morphology. He then handed it over to Humboldt Seed Co for production/distribution and they took it to F-4 where it was debuted it for the first time at the 2019 Emerald Cup.
Who is Shapeshifter? Shapeshifter is commonly known for being the first person to discover, document, and stabilize pinnate cannabis. Freakshow was his first public release, but it also was of his most recent projects & represents only a tiny portion of his broader genetic legacy. With an unwavering commitment to excellence, Shapeshifter dedicated over half his life to selectively breeding cannabis with the most impressive traits, focusing on rare and unique genotypes.
His breeding approach was rigorous and highly selective—he would often discard entire seed batches (fed to the chickens) that failed to meet his standards, regardless of how visually appealing the plants were. Taste and effect always being his upmost priority, so if it didn’t pass the smoke test, it got trashed!
So much more can be said, but we’ll let him tell his story for himself when he’s ready. For now, his genetics continue to speak for themselves, embodying his dedication to quality, performance, and innovation in cannabis breeding.
Side note- anyone recognize where this original photo is from? I made have done a crop and edit 😂 😈#Fuckcorporatecannabis
