ALSO in canon given that her name is unaccented, it's safe to assume her forename - Ina - could be either accented or unaccented, which are both permissible in Icelandic naming conventions, so she could be eye-na (Ina, canon) or ee-na (ína, non-canon, but likely bc of accents)
Also she's tried educating ppl on how to pronounce her surname for so long but clearly nobody got the memo bc they pronounced it SO WRONG IN THE SHOW so she just gave up and it makes her smile when people pronounce it properly
Headcanon that every time someone calls Ina Leifsdóttir 'Leif', she lowkey cringes bc thAT'S HER FATHER'S NAME NOT HER NAME (Leifsdóttir = Leifs dóttir = Leif's daughter) but she's grown used to the american-isms over time
Every christmas Leifsdóttir makes/is sent piparkökur and she offers them round and everyone's like 'omg yum what's in them??' and Ína is like "uhhh paprika, cloves, black pepper, white pepper, ginger--"
"THOSE AREN'T COOKIE FOODS ÍNA"
@xfallingskies She blinks, lips parting softly as if she was going to say something, but chose to fall silent at the last second. Sitting down next to him, ina crosses her legs and gives the pilot a concerned glance.]
Do you require company, kinkade?
@xfallingskies Ina had been out wandering before catching sight of the male, approaching inquisitively before gently laying a hand on his shoulder.
‘Ryan...?’
