@Bonezine@Yuki27183 You can't. Braves ad blocker gives you a completely ad free experience, and it always has. The best middle ground option is Adblock Plus and its acceptable ads feature, however they unfortunately charges bigger websites to be included.
@DividedSelf_94 Have you tried turning off the "Quick Fixes" list, as well as turning off conflicting extensions like other ad blockers and Privacy Badger?
@CryptoCyberia You need to go to qBittorrent's advanced settings and change the network interface to Proton VPN. That is the only reliable way to ensure not a single bit goes outside of the VPN.
🔺Thousands of protestors last night walked past a Gurdwara in Southampton without incident, as many Sikh gentlemen in the community welcomed the protest against two tier policing in the Henry Nowak tragedy and shook hands with protestors as they walked past.
Kulwinder Singh told the Daily Mail he welcomed the protest in the city and those who were marching following the 18-year-old's death 'It's nothing to do with the faith. We should keep people together.'
@EnclaveEmily@rootappofficial Root is centralised so it can go the same way as Discord. You should only use those where you can choose the host server.
@giver_yuta It is quite good in a vacuum, however the compatibility with MS Office files is not great. I use Onlyoffice desktop editors, and there is a derivitive called Eurooffice coming out as well.
‼️🚨 German police have been buying commercial location data, harvested from phone apps and resold by data brokers, to track phones without a warrant. An investigation confirmed at least two state criminal offices did it.
Experts call it likely unlawful; a data-protection authority is now investigating.
MullvadVPN about age verification for social media:
"[...] politicians seek to massively invade everyone’s privacy and undermine democratic rights [...] they do not want to protect children; they want to impose control."
early in my career I was designing software for contact centers -- turns out it was all citrix VMs displayed on the absolute cheapest monitors you could imagine.
did a user interview, they were complaining about a missing feature, a snooze button or something.
the button was there.
they just literally couldn't see it, the monitors rendered basically any shade of grey as white.
still learning that lesson.
@tomjohndesign They could fix it just by setting the correct dynamic range (full/limited) and reducing "contrast" (it controls the top of the dynamic range, which results in less contrast if too high)
@hao_konajin_67 I have a Galaxy and I have no issues with it. Next year I plan to switch to GrapheneOS on a Motorola, which should also have no issues.
