The New York Times Russini article is very long and contains a ton of new info. The cliff notes according to the New York Times which owns The Athletic are below:
*Russini was sent an outline of the Times article and declined to comment. In May, when the Times began reporting this article, Russini did respond via text as then asked that the texts not be included. She asked the reporter not to include the texts, the reporter didn’t agree and emailed high level employees at the Times and Athletic.
*As part of its review, The Athletic is looking into “Dianna’s involvement” in a January 2025 article, “Inside Mike Vrabel’s Year Off, a 4k+ word article written by Zack Rosenblatt and brokered by Russini.
*Members of Vrabel’s Titans coaching staff with present with Russini and Vrabel the night the roulette casino photos were taken.
*Russini was given time to respond to the Sedona photos but didn’t tell The Athletic executives about the Sedona photos right away. Instead they warned of it a few hours before the Posts’ deadline to Russini.
*Ginsberg’s statement of support for Russini was approved by Mr. Perpich (Athletics executive editor) and David Rubin, the Times Company’s chief brand and communications officer.
*Ginsberg wasn’t given all the Sedonda photos of Russini and Vrabel in Sedona before he publicly supported Russini. Meaning either Russini or The post held additional photos back.
*Russini didn’t alert editors to any conflicts of interest involving Vrabel
*A friend of Russini’s said she resigned because she saw an opportunity to reimagine her career and spend more time with her children.
*A former ESPN ombudsman said Vrabel and Russini were operating “very flagrantly”
*Two weeks before the Sedoda photos were taken, Russini used an interview with Vrabel as an example of getting a subject to open up, in a room full of NYT executives. She joked “what is wrong with (Vrabel). What is wrong with the Kraft family for hiring by this man?”
*Russini told the Post that the Sedona trip was a girls trip but didn’t provide photos or receipts over the next couple days.
*Russini ad Vrabel worked together to coordinate their response to the Sedona photos
*She was pulled over by a police officer for texting and driving and called the head coach of the cops’ favorite team to get out of the ticket.
*NYT said it was the 2nd time presently she got pulled over for texting a driving and it was an “abuse of professional access for personal gain.
*A friend said Russini served as an “unofficial advisor” to Vrabel as he looked for a job the offseason after he was fired (and photographed gambling together).
*The Athletic paid Russini around 800k/year
In 2002, the Oakland #Raiders opened their season with a 4–0 record. However, they immediately hit a slump following the undefeated start, losing their next four games to drop to 4–4. With their season on the line against division rival Denver #Broncos, all-pro veteran S Rod Woodson made a season saving 98-yard interception for a TD! What a season it was! 🏴☠️👇
#Raiders TE Brock Bowers, who battled a knee injury for the majority of last season, said he feels 100% healthy: "It feels good to be back out there [and] practicing full speed."
#Raiders C Tyler Linderbaum: "You don't want any gray area, you want everything to be black and white. His expectations are his expectations."

With high gas prices & strained supply, Gov. Newsom says he has no regrets with his approach to oil and gas industry in California.
“Quite the contrary.. it’s Donald Trump’s fault.”
I also asked about a gas tax holiday. It’s a no (again).
“Is Donald Trump promoting that?”
