What bums me out about him not winning here is that he may just eventually end up like dicaprio and win an award for a performance that was just alright compared to what he's done prior
Isn’t it crazy how Ange was such a HUGE shift in every aspect of Tottenham? Loses Kane, has the worst injury crisis in Premier League history, breaks the 17 year old trophy drought, Donna leaves, Son leaves and then DANIEL LEVY LEAVES AT LAST! Ange dared and did like God planned.
Club died when we sacked Ange
All we needed that summer was proper backing and a revamp of the medical team
Instead we told the squad winning doesn’t matter. Just an average league position does
Took all potential momentum we had as a club and went full throttle backwards
It’s really not complicated.
Hamas are bad.
The Israeli government are bad.
The vast majority of Jewish people and Palestinians are just ordinary, decent people trying to get on with their lives.
Why are so many people afraid to say this?
Keir Starmer’s biggest mistake was first addressing the fiscal black hole instead of making a TikTok with Rachael Reeves about the merits of scampi fries over pork scratchings.
So after 2 yrs of hard graft, Keir fixing the economy in order to fund a positive agenda for the next 3 yrs, Burnham comes along with a couple of headline grabbing policies, 'sticking plasters', that do not address the root causes of the cost of living crisis but do increase debt
Fact check.
In January 2026, @Keir_Starmer announced a support package for pubs and live music venues, including:
A 15% discount on business rates bills from April 2026, on top of earlier support.
A two‑year real‑terms freeze on pub bills.
So, is @andyburnham selling a 5% discount as a 20% or is he adding a 20% discount on the existing 15% bringing it to a 35% discount?
It seems like it’s the second. If so, why adding an extra discount on a category that was already benefiting of one when there’s plenty of business struggling in the Uk?
Could it be because message of Starmer’s cut had been hardly mentioned by the press despite being popular, while for Burnham, it sounded like the perfect horse to ride?
Does anyone share my concern that Burnham is shaping up to be a lightweight populist offering retail policies of marginal benefit but having little impact on the big structural issues that need addressing?
