Holocaust survivor, Nobel Laureate and human rights activist Elie Wiesel z"l was a force of reason and compassion in this world, inspiring us to #NeverForget.
He passed away 10 years ago today, yet his voice continues to echo through the generations.
We will never forget Elie Wiesel's warmth, his generosity of spirit, his humanity and most of all his astute wisdom, which informed and inspired ADL's work for many years.
His writings about the Shoah and his passion in speaking out against antisemitism made him one of the great Jewish voices of conscience for his generation.
May his memory forever be a blessing.
We remember the important words and legacy of the late Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks as we combat the ever-growing virus of antisemitism.
May Rabbi Sacks' memory forever be a blessing, and may his wisdom serve as an inspiration for all.
@MeidasClips@BMeiselas So disappointed in you for the first time. Please ask yourself why Israel is in Lebanon. Please. Well at least you didn’t say “as a Jew.”
Years after banning Italian "pasta," a year after banning "Go Habs Go!" — the Office québécois de la langue française is now banning the Yiddish word "nosh" from the name of a small Montreal restaurant. For those who don't know, "nosh" means to nibble.

That's my dad and my daughter! Thank you, @MuseeHolocauste for including them in your new antisemitism campaign. "Marek came to Canada in 1948 after surviving the Holocaust. Today his granddaughter experiences antisemitism while managing social media at the Holocaust Museum."
🕯️ Tomorrow evening marks Yom HaShoah – Holocaust Remembrance Day.
On this day, we pause, remember, and bow our heads in memory of the six million Jews – men, women, and children – who were murdered in the Holocaust.
We remember their names, their stories, and our responsibility: to pass on the memory, to fight antisemitism, and to ensure that “Never Again” is more than just a slogan.
May their memory be a blessing. 💔
@Howard_Lovy They and many others need a lesson on the meaning of ALLYSHIP and BYSTANDERS or maybe reread Eli Wiesel's wise words,"We must take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented."@BSQAorg@RobertKrafts#Bluesquare
@Eve_Barlow It's not about US. OMG!! It's about the OTHERS, whose complicity, indifference and silence hurt us. It's about bystanders. It echoes Elie Wiesel words,"What hurts the victim most is not the cruelty of the oppressor but the silence of the bystander."@BSQAorg#BLUESQUAREALLIANCE
@EylonALevy@IDF The ad's about ALLYSHIP not RESCUE!The kid doesn't need to be "saved." What he and we Jews need is for others, with their silence or complicity, to stop being bystanders and to stand up to hate. That's what the #BlueSquare means. Check it out. @BSQAorg
@BenjaminBadejo It's a great ad. The target audience is the bystanders who with their silence and complicity do nothing to stop antisemitism. That's the Blue Square Campaign motto, "Stand Up To Hate. " Too bad so many don't get the message, BE AN UPSTANDER.
