To all Ghanaians who believed in us, we say a big thank you to you all. Keep supporting us, and we will do our best to bring you smiles.

Fugu is more than cloth.
It carries the spirit of Ghana, shaped by gold, refined by time, and worn with pride.
From tradition to today, every weave reflects our value. 🇬🇭
We appreciate the public’s interest in how Ghana’s reserves are managed.
As explained during today’s MPC press briefing, the change in reported gold holdings reflects a deliberate reserve diversification decision. At the time, Ghana’s gold holdings accounted for over 40 percent of total reserves, compared with about 20–25 percent among many of our peers.
A decision was therefore taken to rebalance the portfolio by converting part of the gold holdings into foreign exchange. The proceeds remain part of Ghana’s international reserves, are being actively invested, and are contributing to reserve accumulation and returns. This does not represent a loss of national assets, but a shift in the composition of reserves.
We continue to monitor reserve developments closely and will make adjustments as appropriate, in line with best practice in reserve management.
I encourage interested parties to refer to the full MPC press briefing for additional context:
