Interesting. This was the month when the Trump-era decline in the number of employees on the federal payroll stopped. It ticked up just ever so slightly from 2.676 million to 2.677 million between April and May.
Alexa has gone downhill so fast. Now takes much longer than before to do simple tasks like scheduling reminders. And it feels like just yesterday that she could actually play Bach's Fifth Brandenberg Concerto, starting with the first movement, on request. Now, she either plays the Third instead or goes straight to the Fifth's second movement. The upgrades @amazon did about 6 months ago are a total failure.
Just re-watching The Expanse, and I guess I missed the first time through that one of the ships was named the "Guy Molinari." Staten Island politics ftw.
The shuttering of the Schlitz brand reminds me of the late Milwaukee Brewers relief pitcher Milton Faymie, who always insisted on drinking Schlitz between innings while he was pitching.
Unfortunately, he overdid it during one game. He walked the bases loaded, then walked in the winning run.
And the opponents cheered: "Schlitz! The beer that made Mil Faymie walk us!"
