Example poetic idea:
“My songs are sonar in the dark ocean of people, searching for hearts that answer back.”
It’s a powerful image because oceans often symbolize depth, mystery, loneliness, and emotion — and sonar becomes the tool used to navigate those depths.
Congrats Xonara!
In poetry or art, “sonar” is often used as a symbol or metaphor rather than its literal scientific meaning.
It can represent:
•Searching for something unseen — emotions, truth, identity, or meaning
•Distance and silence — trying to reach someone emotionally far away
For an artist, “sonar” can symbolize the act of creating itself: putting emotions into the world like a signal, then waiting for another soul to hear the echo.
And maybe that’s what makes them real.
Going forward, I will start sharing them again whenever I perform—not to go back, but to show the full picture of my art and the story behind it.
Because healing doesn’t erase the past. It gives it meaning.
when we also acknowledge the pain that came before them.
It used to bother me that my songs felt disconnected from each other. But now I see the truth—they were never disconnected. I am the creator of all of them.
They are different chapters of the same journey.
For a long time, I hid my darker songs because I felt they no longer represented who I am. I chose to focus on music about healing, hope, grace, and transformation.
But recently, I realized something important: we can only truly understand healing, hope, grace, and transformation
I’ve been deep into OPM lately—and I didn’t expect it to hit this hard.
Every Tagalog song feels like a story you’ve lived.
What OPM song do you genuinely love, and why does it stay with you?
I’m not just looking for good songs… I’m looking for songs that mean something. 🎧

At its heart, Unan (Huwag Kang Mag-alala) is a reminder that love is not just romance—it is presence, rest, and reassurance. A simple promise: you don’t have to go through it by yourself.
If you’ve ever wanted to tell someone, “rest, I’ve got you,” this song is for you.
🌙 UNAN (Huwag Kang Mag-alala)

I finally built SB19’s Wakas at Simula show in #MinecraftConcertScene! 💎
I spent 5 days grinding to map out the SMDC Festival Grounds using the official floor plan and photos for 1:1 accuracy. A massive tribute to a legendary finale.
Huge congrats to @SB19Official! 💙🔥
@SB19Official was lucky to have worked with Xi Anne early in their career. Really impressed by her creativity.
As an indie artist, it also reminded me to surround myself with people like her. I tend to focus so much on music that I sometimes forget how important visuals are. 🌻
