@jamiegraydesign @figma In a world where there’s always more pressure on time, i’d rather have my team focus on bringing creative ideas rather than a beautiful figma file. So much time is lost working for the software and not on bringing value. (I get that there’s a minimum to do for good collaboration)
@gabrielvaldivia The art direction of the portfolio itself can be a strong vehicle. Otherwise try to find/do a project, even a personnel one, where you can express yourself to the best of you abilities and out of the cookie-cutter stuff. Those lack personnalities by design.

@vanschneider 100%, an era where mediocre digital designer can strive in a value system that focus on technical rules rather than character, emotion and personnality. We always had rules and constraints, we just lowered the bar to what is consider great design and lost the art of craft.
