"i don't know if george puts a lot of pressure on himself or feels it or not so i don't know what situation he is necessarily in now but he has always been quite a confident guy so whereas i went from not much confidence to 'what have i got to lose now' he is kind of going the opposite way.

there's a lot of things to think about as soon as someone says that you are a title contender.. if he says he is going around with no pressure now then we will see if that helps him or not.

he's a guy i respect a lot, i think he's very talented so i have a good feeling that he will fight back."

lando: “yeah there's been a few parts on the car that have just not performed to the expectation we wanted and to the level that it needs to. so there's been tests going on. there'll be more tests tomorrow as well to try and understand some of these parts and then make sure that they're working properly. so we're not really in the position we wanted to be at probably at this part of the season, but it's just a very different track.

What a shitshow with all these 5-second penalties for speeding!

It seems the reason is that drivers are cutting the pit lane entry and exit, which shortens the measured distance compared to the time it takes to cover it.

But Gasly and the others are surely well under 60 kph limit, so how can they even get a penalty for speeding? I'm also not sure if cutting the line inside the pit lane is actually against the rules...

Protests are definitely incoming. Russell even got a penalty for not serving an incorrect penalty... #MonacoGP
