EFF Member of Parliament, Hon. @niehaus_carl, criticised the Department of Correctional Services over exorbitant pricing of food products and called for decisive action against officials involved in irregular and corrupt tender processes.

Hon. Niehaus stressed that consequence management must be applied across the board to protect taxpayers from losses caused by inflated pricing and corruption within the Department.
