If people are truly insane and mentally defective, they should be locked away and the key thrown away. If they can't function in a society without the fear of them harming people, they shouldn't be walking amongst the free in the first place. The firearm is irrelevant, because I have a gun.

Gun control is not only tyrannical, it's a victim's game and mentality. I choose to not worry about who has guns and who doesn't, because I have my own gun. That's why I have a gun, and that's why I train with my gun. I don't carry it to say that I have it. I carry it to use it if I need to.

Do you intend to do me harm without cause? Why? Sounds like you're mentally unstable, and you should probably be locked away and the key thrown away, or shot if you are trying to hurt people without cause. If you try to do me harm and aren't locked away, I have a gun. If I fail, that's my fault not the rest of society's, and that person shouldn't have been on the street anyway. My security isn't your problem.

Them having a gun didn't matter in the slightest, because criminals already don't care about the law, anyway, and will just use something else to be a criminal...right? Regardless, I have a gun.

In summary: I have a gun. I don't care who else does or doesn't have guns. I would like for us to stop justifying the continuous removal of guns to satisfy "doing something", because it's a never-ending cycle of the same arguments. Arm more people, afford them the ability to defend themselves, and the problem solves itself.
