Most cops tend to be gun buffs and go to the range on their free time. Any cop who would volunteer for a security team most likely would fall into the gun buff and squared away type, the loser hairbag cop ain’t volunteering for anything. But why cops are the best choice, especially the ones who would volunteer their time is because of their experience making split second decisions under stress and knowledge of the law. The range ain’t the street.
