Kudos to @AndreaG_law and @FredSchumann, who successfully acted for Animal Justice in a constitutional challenge to Ontario's "ag-gag" law! Several sections of the law were found to unconstitutionally infringe freedom of expression. Full decision: https://t.co/hJKK82khSw #cdnlaw
The outcome of this case would be different in Canada. In 1949, Canada adopted the US bankruptcy discharge bar but omitted the exclusion for "wilful and malicious injury" and later put in a narrower exclusion for intentional assaults in s. 178(1)(a.1).

When the Evermore era started and they all came out in capes, I thought they were going to bring out a tiny Stonehenge. Taylor intones: "In ancient times, hundreds of years before the dawn of history, lived an ancient race of people. The Druids."
Really interesting decision in Ontario - police cannot use a general warrant to seize cryptocurrency from an exchange account.

The decision is being reviewed by the Superior Court - that decision is under reserve.
