@TheBenanya Lammens
Dalot-Maguire-Yoro-Shaw
Santos-Mount
Amad-Bruno-Cunha
Mbeumo
This is what I’d do if Mount is fit, otherwise start Tielemans. I just think it’s evident he’s still working up to full fitness (same goes for Mainoo and Rashford).
@paramkhurana98@htomufc@INEOS Honestly would be easier than dealing with them for Hall if I had to guess. But either way, not realistic lol. Pubill I do think is slightly more realistic, Fabrizio was reporting Arsenal were interested in him a couple days ago and Athleti just signed Romero. He’d be my pick
@htomufc@INEOS Truffert, Baleba, and Pubill/Thiaw. Not worried about a CF, just keep Zirkzee around until January at least. Way more important that we address the defensive core of the team. Those 3 would turn us into a plus athleticism team + complement our technical quality so well.
@ronaldobrownn_ Yup, if we had done the other 5 I’d have no problem with Rashy coming back and being that starting level winger. Just a damn shame that a CB feels impossible and a 3rd senior midfielder is starting to feel unlikely.
@KG_759@ahtalksfutbol Yea, I’d want someone ideally who’s both a dynamic carrier and super athletic OOP, just bc I think those are the 2 areas we’re lacking rn. More like Baleba. But Tchou would go a longggg way to shoring up the defense behind Bruno + either Tielemans or Mainoo.
@sameoldshit01@ahtalksfutbol If we want an inverted player, MLS would be great. Truffert is a much better athlete than Hall and would be cheaper, also loves an overlap (most in the prem last season). He’d probably be my choice but that’s just off the top of my head.
@ahtalksfutbol Wouldn’t say terrible, defo an improvement on Shaw in that regard. But it’s definitely not the strength of his game, if the plan is to start Licha + Andrey/Youri I don’t think you can be signing Hall. If the plan is to get a super athletic 6 and play Yoro LCB, then Hall’s great.
@EliotFowle If we were ambitious we’d have moved on one of Lisandro/Maguire and got a proper starting CB in. Assuming we’ll get a LB, but it’s a shame they aren’t doing anything over the bare minimum (like getting a CB in).
@boivannie@FrankEra_ Other people need minutes. Cunha/Bruno haven’t started a game yet and the season’s next week. Mbeumo’s gotten plenty of minutes, let him come off the bench today so he’s fresh for the opener.
@khelszz Saka averaging 14 league goals contributions over the last two seasons. Mbeumo had 14, Cunha had 12, and Sesko had 12. Bruno’s the star, attackers share the load.
