I was on the phone with Services Canada, trying to get an answer as to why I am not receiving my old age pension, despite having turned 65 6 months ago and having applied a year before my 65th birthday. I was on hold for well over 30 minutes, finally began my call when I heard a doorbell ring in the background. The person on the other end was so distracted and so checked out of the conversation when that bell rang I suggested she answer it.
