Just got off a 15-hr flight from Doha where I could not sleep a wink bc so many babies were crying the whole time. And now I’m home, crying because that is the sound of babies living & asking to be comforted, fed, held, loved. The sound US bombs are silencing in Gaza & Lebanon.

Thank you @andrewfeinstein for saying it like it is. The West has indeed gone batshit crazy. The United States has embraced the worst of its own history in its support for Israel. Germany can’t seem to do anything but support Genocide. Genocide Scholars are silent. We Westerners are all complicit. There’s nothing to do but keep fighting in solidarity with “the Global South” for a new order, free from colonial models of power and genocide. The current institutions must go.

@ilya_poet Glad you changed your mind. Also genuinely confused why some folks can’t understand that it is possible (and consistent) to oppose both American and Russian imperialism. A cultural boycott in the absence of an arms embargo and economic sanctions is a moral imperative.
