@mungowitz Here in the Triangle, I like to ask light rail proponents - where do you put the stations? If I have to get to the IBM campus, do you put the station on the main road and leave me a mile walk in NC summer to/from my desk?

Mass transit only works when driving is impractical.

@mama_gforce We go to church on Sundays, which means that we watch most F1 races on delay over lunch that afternoon. The key is avoiding spoilers, which isn't that hard if you also avoid social media.

That last bit may be the hardest for some, I realize...

@sportsin_cle Hammy gets excited when he sees good baseball, no matter who does it. He does seem to have a special place in his heart for the Royals for some reason, though.

I love it when he does his, "HE MADE THE CATCH!" even when it ends a Cleveland rally in a late inning.

@CLEBrownsfan84 @BronxBmbrz What all the outraged NYY fans don't seem to get is that Tom Hamilton, like most Clevelanders, gets sick of all the attention NY gets and its athletes get. It's a common theme in his broadcasts.

Inferiority complex? Probably. But that's what's going on here.

@corylav Pretty sure "took a breather" means that he didn't give max effort for a second and he got beat. He's trying to own it and should be commended. It's not like that was the only big mistake anyone made.
