it goes, “when i went to take off the mask, it was stuck to my face. when i got it off and saw myself in the mirror, i had already grown old.”
To procrastinate is to be entitled. It is arrogant. It assumes there will be a later. It assumes you’ll have the discipline to get to it later (despite not having the discipline now).
The real flex is mastering the ability to navigate situations that trigger your nervous system. I have deep respect for those who remain calm and articulate, even in the heat of the moment.
