@IRGCConscripts @MelissaLantsman@vincentneilho Canada is punishing former IRGC conscripts—people who were forced into service and had zero loyalty to the regime.
Last week’s Federal Court ruling allows this to continue.
This is unfair. Families need help now.

We are truly grateful for your support and willingness to hear the concerns of former IRGC conscripts and their families. Your engagement has given many in our community hope.
But after the recent Federal Court ruling where a forced conscript was still deemed a “member” of the IRGC, the situation has become urgent. This ruling will now be used as precedent, putting countless innocent families at risk of inadmissibility and separation.
We ask for your continued leadership and, this time, concrete action. The community needs clear ministerial guidance and a fair process before more irreversible harm is done.
Your voices can help stop an injustice that grows by the day.

Today we received the first Federal Court decision for a former IRGC conscript.
The judge upheld inadmissibility, treating a forced conscript as a “member.”
For thousands of non-citizen Iranians in Canada, this is devastating. It confirms our worst fear:
Even the courts are now applying blanket assumptions, leaving no path to fairness for those who were forced and never part of the IRGC.
This ruling affects entire families. Children’s futures. People who built their lives here.
They are being punished for something they had no choice in, while real regime affiliates remain untouched.
Canada urgently needs ministerial guidance.
Forced conscription is not membership.
Justice cannot demand victims pay the price for their oppressors’ crimes.

@IRGCConscripts 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 It gets even more ironical when the officers affirm that they know that conscription in Iran is mandatory but since the law is incomplete and unclear they have to ask such questions and expel
innocent people
While CBSA interrogates former IRGC conscripts—victims of forced conscription—they repeatedly ask:
“Why did you join the IRGC? Didn’t you know they were terrorists?”
What an absurd question!
First, there was no “joining”—these men were forced by law.
Second, IRGC is Iran's biggest state-funded military organization. How could they have known, decades ago, that Canada would later list the IRGC as a terrorist group?
Meanwhile, just days after the IRGC murdered 176 innocent people on Flight PS752, Prime Minister Trudeau smiled and shook hands with Iran’s Foreign Minister—the man who tried to cover up the crime.
Didn’t the Canadian government know who they were dealing with?
Where is the accountability for them?
Why are only innocent conscripts—men enslaved for menial labor—being punished, while real enablers face no consequences?
Double standards must end.
Labeling IRGC conscripts as willing participants is like blaming a hostage for being captured.

Real IRGC members have money, power, and foreign passports. They travel freely, invest abroad, and face no consequences.
IRGC conscripts, on the other hand, were forced by law into menial labor—and now face interrogations, visa refusals, and shattered lives in Canada.
This is not justice.
This is a system that punishes the powerless while the powerful walk free.
We call on the new government to fix this shameful policy.
Forced conscription is not a crime.
