I enjoy how Sox broadcasters, even tonight, constantly mention the improvement in the hitters' approach by going for oppo line drives. But they never mention it had been DL early in the season telling the hitters to try pulling everything with max LA.

I understand they don't want to point fingers, but facts are facts and it's a huge reason why the team has turned around their season.

@HouckssBurner Poor Connor Wong, he knows he'll be sitting a lot when Adley returns. I don't think he'll get demoted though, they won't replace BOTH catchers at the same time.

They won't publicly admit it, but it's quite clear they've dumped the DL approach and gone to outside instructors. They're not trying to pull the ball over the wall every pitch, they're bunting more ever. Did you see Rafaela's bunt attempt in his first AB last night? Never would have happened earlier in the season with DL's lame "bunts are wasted outs" mantra.
