What an incredible milestone for FreeHelpCK! 💙🚚

FreeHelpCK has come a long way since we began, and today we are celebrating a huge step forward for our organization.

We are excited and grateful to have received our first truck to help support the many programs and services we provide throughout Chatham-Kent. A heartfelt thank you to Chatham Chrysler for helping make this possible.

This truck will play an important role in keeping our 10 community programs running smoothly, including delivering Senior Hope Meals, supporting Harvest to Home, stocking our Free Food Pantries, transporting Operation Backpack supplies, and so much more.

Having reliable transportation allows us to serve more people, respond faster to community needs, and continue growing our programs as demand increases. Most importantly, it helps ensure that no one is forgotten.

To every donor, volunteer, sponsor, partner, and supporter who has believed in our mission over the years—thank you. This truck represents more than transportation; it represents hope, community, and what can be accomplished when people come together to help one another.

Today, we are excited to pick up another generous donation of fresh asparagus from Sunshine Farms!

Because of their kindness, fresh, locally grown produce will be distributed to families and community food support programs across Chatham-Kent, helping ensure good food reaches those who need it most.

This is exactly what Harvest to Home is all about — rescuing fresh food, reducing waste, and connecting our local growers with local people. Every bundle of asparagus represents neighbors helping neighbors and a community coming together to make a difference.

Another successful FreeHelpCK Prom & Grad Project Opening Day today!💃🏼✨

Today, we had the privilege of helping another 18 students find the perfect prom, graduation, and suit attire to celebrate such an important milestone in their lives 💖🎓

Every dress, suit, pair of shoes, and accessory represents more than just an outfit, it represents confidence, inclusion, and the most importantly the opportunity for students to feel special on a day they’ll always remember🥰

🌭❤️ Today’s BBQ Fundraiser at Sobeys Chatham was a success thanks to the incredible support from our community! We raised a total of $359 in support of FreeHelpCK’s Operation Backpack program🎒

A huge thank you to the two gentlemen who spent the day grilling up hotdogs and sausages for everyone who stopped by and donated. We’d also like to extend our sincere thanks to Schneiders for proudly hosting the BBQ, and to Sobeys Chatham for their continued support and generosity.

Every dollar raised brings us one step closer to providing local students with the backpacks and essential school supplies they need for the upcoming school year✏️💛 Thank you for continuing to help us make a difference in the lives of children across Chatham-Kent✨

Earlier this week, a local bride reached out looking for a wedding dress, but unfortunately we didn’t have her size available. Days later, someone donated a dress… and it was her exact size🤍

Today she received it, overjoyed and already hoping to regift it afterward so another bride can experience that same joy someday.

God truly works through the kindness of others✨
