@AngAesthetics @MattMBarrett @CredoMagazine The context provided by the Old Testament is missing. The etymology is fine, but the tanakh or kohen or priest of the Old Testament followed sacrificial procedures that are now fulfilled by Christ. They are in no way fulfilled by man today.

And no one claimed that Pentecost gave us the Bible. You do this often: you change the subject and provide red herrings. No offense.
