@drones_for_sale Before the plague I would sometimes bring an electric kettle/cups/tea if I was playing a show. I would be happy to bring that AND banana bread AND my sick basement jams to the party.

@cyanidetooth at least you were like 16 (17?) when you wrote it?! Not everyone gets to write reviews for the Beacon when they're wee babies :)

#cronecore RIYL dungeon synth, gongs. It's more than an aesthetic, it's a microgenre. https://t.co/NDqVgkC8xE

@cinchel I've felt this too -- I'm 100% still here but posting very little and exhausted from 2 jobs so going to shows periodically. It was great to see you play the other week! I hope to have more opportunities to see people going forward and until then *shrug*?

Our Ohio family solemnly led the House to honor the life of a former colleague, Congressman Tom Sawyer of Akron. A lifelong public servant, Tom passed away earlier this week at 77.

@emsuerob I enjoyed some KLF the other day when I remembered you had mentioned them and it was 100% delight. Happy birthday!!

People shouldn’t profit off of healthcare because the market will never be a “free market.”

There is no “free market” if the business model is “either buy this product or you die.”

Same — Shirley on the outside, Laverne on the inside. RIP Cindy Williams 🥲

The former Akron Times Press and Beacon Journal building. Lord help someone see the potential in this building, because these original herringbone wood floors (and so much more) would be a travesty for Akron to lose. Thanks to Progress Through Preservation for hosting this tour!

@GoodWillsmith I started playing too late to have the time to become "good" at drumming & even so I can always learn new things & play with confidence/voice/relish & ignore my technical shortcomings. I'm happy to be included and so far no one has told me to stop playing lol.

[Amanda K @freemorpheme]

@emsuerob Haha feeling this as a restaurant worker currently at work

[Amanda K @freemorpheme]

@pmontoro Noooooo so sorry to hear this friend :( I know how much you want to go on this trip!!

[Amanda K @freemorpheme]

@cyanidetooth Sad!!
