Omar Mahmoud Shamlawi, a student in the College of Engineering at An-Najah University, was arrested by the occupation on 28 April 2025 alongside Ammar Farouk and Dheeb Qawariq.

Omar was first arrested by the traitorous Palestinian Authority in February 2023, and was subsequently arrested by both the occupation and the PA several times. PA prisons are a “revolving door” with those of the occupier.

FREE AHMED ABU KHUDAIR!

Al-Quds University student Ahmed Thabet Abu Khudair remains imprisoned by the occupation after it extended his detention on 1 July 2025 until an unknown date. Ahmed was abducted on 24 April 2023 from his home in Surif, north of occupied al-Khalil.

Despite the attacks of the occupier, including beatings, torture, and starvation, Palestinian prisoners remain steadfast and continue to resist from behind bars. From within the jails of the occupier, Ahmed has succeeded in memorizing the entire Holy Quran.

On 29 April, Zionist occupation forces renewed the administrative detention without charge or trial of Mohammed Nidal Arman, past president of the Birzeit University Student Council Accounting, for an additional 4 months, after 18 months in Zionist jails.

Mohammed Arman is among hundreds of Palestinian university students jailed by the occupation, and approximately 3,600 Palestinians jailed without charge or trial under administrative detention -- among over 10,000 Palestinian prisoners of the occupation.

Birzeit University student and former Student Council Chair ordered to 4 additional months of Administrative Detention

Saleh Hassan, former Birzeit Student Council Chair from Ein Misbeh, Ramallah, has been detained in zionist prisons since 22 February 2024.

Saleh succeeded his imprisoned brother Abdel-Majeed Hassan and imprisoned student Mohammed Arman as Student Council Chair. Abdel-Majeed ran atop the slate put forward by the Islamic Bloc in the 2003-2004 elections. He has been arrested five times.
