Stuck in CMB. Which option wud you do?

1. Etihad via Abu Dhabi: Fast, but 50/50 chance of cancellation/getting stranded in AUH (FCDO advice is Red).

2.China route: 3 flights (PKX/PVG/CSX). 100% safe/green but 36hrs total.

I’m stranded in Colombo after my flight was cancelled due to airspace restrictions for the 2nd time. My insurer won’t help and the booking agent says they can’t rebook me onto another airline. I’m incurring extra costs. Please urgently advise
