The Home Office spent £4.7 billion on asylum last year. They housed 35% of asylum seekers in hotels. It consumed 76% of the budget.

This is not a system failing. This is a system working exactly as designed.

The Home Office is not overwhelmed. It is a deliberately engineered funnel. Money flows in, solutions never flow out, and British taxpayers foot the bill for a machine that grows more expensive the more it "fails."

Here is the proof.

SMOKING GUN 1: The Hotel Racket

2023 to 2024 was the peak spending year. Total asylum support cost hit £4.7 billion, with hotel accommodation consuming £3.1 billion of that total. Yet those hotels housed just 35% of asylum seekers.

The math is brutal. Three billion pounds to house one third of the people, while the other two thirds were crammed into barracks, barges, and emergency accommodation. In 2024 to 2025, the bill remained astronomical at £4 billion total spend, with £2.1 billion going to hotels.

SMOKING GUN 2: The Backlog Shifting

Labour promised to clear the asylum backlog. They cleared the initial decision backlog from 118,882 to 49,000, but created a new bottleneck in the process.

Asylum appeals waiting to be heard hit 80,333 at end of 2025, up from 41,987 one year earlier. That is a 91% increase. The average wait time for an appeal reached 63 weeks, up from 48 weeks. They moved the problem. They did not solve it.

SMOKING GUN 3: The 42% Error Rate

The National Audit Office sampled asylum decisions. In the rolling twelve months to May 2025, they found 42% of decisions had "significant or fail errors."

Four in ten cases processed incorrectly. This is not overwhelmed staff making mistakes under pressure. This is systematic, institutional failure designed to generate appeals, delays, and extended detention. Every error is another six months of hotel bills, another year of legal costs, another cycle of the machine.

SMOKING GUN 4: The Rwanda Black Hole

The Conservatives launched the Rwanda deportation scheme. Labour cancelled it immediately upon election in July 2024.

The cost of cancellation was £700 million. Zero asylum seekers were forcibly removed to Rwanda. The breakdown is staggering: £50 million spent on flights that never took off, £20 million on flight related costs, £134 million on IT systems never used. The per-head cost was £150,874 per individual, if they had sent anyone. Rwanda only agreed to take 300 people total, while 84,000 people crossed the Channel during the time they talked about Rwanda.

SMOKING GUN 5: The Fruitless Payments

In the 2025 to 2026 financial year, the Home Office admits to "fruitless payments." £3.2 million was spent on deportation flights that were cancelled. £19 million was mistakenly reimbursed to migrants that they cannot claw back. Nearly £100 million total waste on failed projects in one year.

This happens while they tell the public the system is "at breaking point." While they claim they need more funding. While they house migrants in £150 per night hotels.

THE PIPELINE

HM Treasury funds the Home Office, which contracts hotel chains, security firms, consultants, and legal aid providers. These contractors perpetuate backlogs, errors, and delays, which generate more funding requests, which return to HM Treasury for another cycle.

This is not a department failing to cope. This is a £4.7 billion annual industry with 42% error rates, record backlogs, and zero accountability. The worse it performs, the more it costs. The more it costs, the more contractors profit.

A history lesson of centralized medicine.

He didn’t stop at the Flexner Report, the 1910 land-grab that captured his entire profession and locked medicine into the biochemical model while sidelining biophysics.

He went all the way back.

Queen Victoria (1837). Saxe-Coburg-Gotha. The royal family that gave Europe hemophilia and helped spark World War I. After the war they quietly changed their name to Windsor because German heritage was suddenly inconvenient.

The original Fabians, still loyal to the Crown but operating as “Americans”, were the Dulles brothers. Allen Dulles helped write the terms of the Treaty of Versailles with Keynes. That same line runs straight through the Weimar Republic, World War II, and the rise of the Rothschild-Rockefeller alliance around 1930–1933.

Two Fabian forces, now fused in banking and financialization.

The Rockefellers took the biochemical model, expanded Big Pharma, then moved into biotechnology in the 1940s–50s. They figured out how to deuterate the American water table and food supply using competitive inhibitors of melanin. They changed the food so they could sell us the drugs to treat the diseases they created.

That’s why American food is still radically different from European food today.

And right now, through the same Fabian method, small, incremental changes they’re trying to get those same chemicals into Europe so they can bankrupt your healthcare system the same way they bankrupted ours.

The symbol is still hanging in the London School of Economics: a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

That is the entire modus operandi of Fabianism. Infiltrate. Permeate. Remold the world nearer to their heart’s desire through tiny steps no one notices until it’s too late.

They lost the loyal title to America in 1776.
