luffy is somehow so clingy with zoro pre-timeskip. asking him to play with him, using his whiny voice towards him, talking to him on the side when people are discussing something, asking him for help, seems like he likes zoro and zoro's attention on him a lot😌

@ryoshockwave Exactly!! Yeah this manga loves to make him the butt of the joke. It is funny and entertaining to see someone who is mostly serious in canon act goofy. But it is really necessary to understand that this is NOT canon in any way.

@astraaloogy Also, he does have a bit of "toxic masculinity" as in, it's difficult for him to display emotions easily. He'd really have to work on himself and his relationship with others to become this open imo. That's especially why I think his current canon self clashes with this depiction

He does aura farm & is antisocial. He tries to be cool and cold. Thats just how he acts. Ofc thats not the only side of him- he has a soft spot and interests like most people. I just dont like it when y'all think these dumbed down versions of the characters are their true selves
