Israel’s military is tightening Palestinian movement in and around the occupied West Bank until Oct. 3rd.
According to reports, the army has blocked entrances to several towns with iron gates and earth mounds, preventing Palestinians from getting to work, hospitals & more.
Florence Pugh says "I was never scared" to publicly support Palestine in Hollywood and "I don’t know why it took so long for people to start talking and for people to actually feel sympathy."
"I think weirdly, because so many people actively weren’t [speaking up], that made me even more confused — and kind of probably even more in the right to talk about it. It’s still happening, though. Babies are still dying. Mothers are still in pain. It’s really horrible to be watching such pain when so much of our lives just seem to be moving forward. I think that’s what I’ve found so difficult about social media as well: How can I say I’m having a really good time when literally one scroll up, I’m looking at a baby that’s motherless and fatherless?” (via Vanity Fair)

Hannah Einbinder speaks out after being detained while protesting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in New York City:
“If the pictures of my friends and me getting arrested in protest of Netanyahu’s shameful visit to New York draw attention to anything, let it be to the devastating genocidal war Israel is waging against the people of Palestine and Southern Lebanon.”
Hannah Einbinder speaks out after being arrested in New York City while protesting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the U.N.:
“If the pictures of my friends and me getting arrested in protest of Netanyahu’s shameful visit to New York draw attention to anything, let it be to the devastating genocidal war Israel is waging against the people of Palestine and Southern Lebanon — to the settler attacks, the home demolitions, the bombing of people as they sleep; to the crimes that happen every SINGLE day but garner almost no international press coverage.
The U.S. government has the power to bring an end to all of this killing, pillaging, and land theft, yet instead it chooses to welcome the butcher of Gaza with open arms. The fact that the orchestrator of all this bloodshed is roaming freely in our cities is an indictment of BOTH REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS who enable and protect architects of genocide like Netanyahu. Let us not mistake the spectacle for the story: genocide is the headline, and it is time for it to end.”

The VMAs executive producer seemingly alludes to Taylor Swift or her team giving them the idea to create the Artist Director Award.
“The idea actually came from external. I’ll leave it at that.”
