DVSA has confirmed the dates from when candidates will be allowed to book their own driving tests, tests will only be able to moved to another local test centre, and the limitation on the number of changes permitted. This is its solution to the backlog

The DVSA has announced that from early 2026, it will introduce first aid questions to the theory test regarding CPR and the use of defibrillators.
