scrolling thru old pic's & came across this gem, shocked me how unhealthily skinny I used to be. The difference in the pics is only 1 year, 1yr improving my happiness, putting myself first &removing toxic relationships. So proud of my transformation physically & emotionally 😊
can someone PLEASE explain to me how you can sit in a church for over an hour with lots of people, go to the supermarket for hours if you want to, go shopping in Victoria Square shopping centre as of Friday but this isn't allowed!??? i'm just confused.....
Also I spent the whole weekend outside within the restrictions and it was great, if it rains i’ll put a rain coat on and still go for a walk for fresh air - outside of a world we’ve created there’s still a natural one for us to enjoy whilst we wait for “normal”
I’ve seen a lot of posts across socials about how we should ignore the restrictions etc. and did a little reading/ thinking and wanted to share a different perspective and I hope some people will read it:
Breonna Taylor’s name is no longer trending and the police that murdered her are still free. If you see this please reply/quote/tweet on your own.
ARREST BRETT HANKISON, JONATHAN MATTINGLY & MYLES COSGROVE FOR THE MURDER OF #BREONNATAYLOR.
please can everyone share this or if you know of anyone that went up cavehill yesterday to ask them if they’ve seen noah at all!! he hasn’t been home since yesterday this is completely out of character
Mayor James Stewart: Justice for Matthew Tucker - Sign the Petition! https://t.co/1H5jyPYyE3 via @UKChange
Matthew called the police because he was having suicidal thoughts and was going to take his own life. He was shot by the responding police officers.
Rt’ing this because I feel like black people that die of police brutality are becoming nothing more than hashtags and I feel like we need reminders that these are real humans with real families and real emotions.
These aren’t “Black Lives Matter counter-protests” or “Cenotaph protection operations”.
Call them what they are: far-right demonstrations.
This government and its attacks on migrants and people of colour has emboldened them.
Why are people more mad about statues than they are about racial injustice. Why are we calling on our government to punish protesters and not to tackle the VERY prevalent issue of systemic racism? Why is the BLM movement even up for debate?
