Maternal deaths in Afghanistan could rise by 50% this year.
After the Taliban's ban on contraception, women are being forced to give birth without doctors, miscarrying without treatment, and losing access to even basic medicine.
Sexually assaulted 9 little girls⊠& no prison time. We are giving a green light to abuse against women & girls, & it is a growing problem, from a place that was already horrific.
Threatening to lower a girl's grade if her personal medical information isn't handed over to the school is disgusting.
There is absolutely no reason for schools to maintain menstrual cycle information on students. It's creepy, disturbing, and discriminatory.
33 of 38 med studies find women less likely than men to be offered an active treatment. Men w/ liver failure more likely to get a transplant than women. Women kidney patients on dialysis less likely to be given permanent access & spent longer on a catheter.https://t.co/ZT06NZUp0G
This story is INSANE. A father/son generational serial killing duo was uncovered in Philly. These psychos were DISSOLVING the bodies, but kept photo and video evidence. The father died and the son kept on. Please pray for the victims. It wasnât just five, itâs countless ATP.
#REPORT: Mark Carney's lawyers in federal court admitted that female inmates in Canadian prisons have been raped by transgender prisoners, but argued that this is a "reasonable limit" on their charter rights to accommodate the "needs of gender diverse inmates."
Nargis Nehan, Afghan womenâs rights activist, at the United Nations:
âAfghan women are allowed to beg for a loaf of bread, but not to work and earn a dignified income.â
âA father can marry his daughter as young as eight to a man as old as 70, but cannot send her to school.â

Twettei um tempo atrås como mulheres nao tem mais espaços só pra mulheres e tudo feminino tem q virar inclusivo (enquanto os homens continuam tendo espaços so pra eles) e aqui esta mais uma prova
âThe dentist's house was searched in early April, after which he was arrested. Footage was found on his computer showing the man going deep into women's throats during âdisinfectionsâ, while at the same time pleasuring himself.
According to the prosecutor's office, the case involves âthroat fetishismâ in which a person is sexually aroused by other peopleâs throats.â
This is superb.
The lesson begins with the usual catechism: J.K. Rowling has âbigoted opinionsâ.
Then someone makes the unforgivable mistake of reading what she actually wrote.
Suddenly, certainty requires definitions. Slogans require evidence. âEveryone knowsâ requires rather more than everyone saying it.
Critical thinking really is murder on a fashionable consensus.
I just want to remind everyone that 94% of Canadaâs trans-identifying male inmates didnât identify as trans until after they were arrested. These men, most of whom are violent sex offenders, are locked in womenâs prisons and womenâs cells all across Canada. The Canadian authorities have admitted that there have been rapes and sexual assaults, but have no intention of returning these monsters to the menâs prisons in which they belong. You heard it here first: women in Canadaâs prison system have been officially condemned to rape.
Beginning in 2006, Tokyo Medical University began secretly limiting female applicants to ensure that more men became doctors.
Female applicantsâ admissions test scores were dropped 10-20% right out of the gate, but that still wasnât enough, so they automatically added 20 bonus points to the scores of all male applicants who had failed the exam less than four times.
The goal was to keep female enrollment at 30% or less, and when this was uncovered accidentally in 2018, Japanese authorities launched a nationwide audit of 81 medical schools. At least 9 other universities were caught doing the same thing â denying qualified female applicants in favor of less-qualified men. Many other institutions were suspected.
The justifications were, quite frankly, pathetic. TMU claimed that they were doing it because they assumed women would eventually leave the medical profession to marry and have children â you know, because women arenât capable of balancing motherhood and a career.
Juntendo University claimed they adjusted womenâs scores because women have better communications skills and mature faster, giving them an âunfair advantageâ over men.
Kitasato University claimed men were more âflexible,â and could better handle the overnight/on call scheduling demanded of student doctors.
Kanazawa Medical University and Iwate Medical University claimed that men were more likely to work in rural areas, where there is a shortage of doctors. There was no statistical evidence to support this statement, but thatâs what they said.
St Marianna University School of Medicine flat out denied the charges, even after the government investigation found objective statistical proof that they had consistently marked down the test scores of female applicants. Instead, they blamed âirregularitiesâ in their internal screening criteria. They did not specify the nature of these irregularities.
This scandal proved something that Japanese women had suspected for over a quarter of a century: that they were being deliberately excluded from the medical profession. For decades, the rate of female medical students had hovered in the 30% range. It was referred to as the â40% barrier,â and medical schools always claimed it existed naturally.
They were lying.
In late 2018, the Japanese government ordered medical schools to stop rigging scores. In the very next cycle of entrance exams, women outscored and outperformed men at multiple institutions for the first time in Japanese history. By 2023, the â40% barrierâ had been broken.
This scandal didnât happen 50 years ago. Within the last decade, qualified female applicants were being rejected from major Japanese medical schools in favor of waitlisted men. Their scores were artificially reduced, while male applicants had their scores inflated. As a result, just 23.6% of Japanese doctors are women.
This leaves Japanese women with very limited choices when it comes to female-only medical care. We know that female doctors take female patients more seriously. How many Japanese women are getting substandard medical care because their doctor is a man who was given a high score, and not a woman who actually earned one?
16 year old said everyone should be educated on periods because it isnât just cramp and now sheâs being called a terf, told to khs and reviving rape threats?? Failing to see where she was wrong saying that a period is not just a cramp and people should be educated
