Nevada has quickly become a star after police were reportedly called on him while playing soccer with his peers on a league team in the USA.
What was meant to discourage the 3-year-old has already skyrocketed his fame.
NEW: Florida police release a statement after a family claims that police were called on their 3-year-old son because he was "too good" at soccer.
Video footage shows a 3-year-old soccer prodigy dominating a group of 5-year-olds in Winter Park, Florida.
"They called the police on a three-year-old because he's too good... because he had the ball for too long and nobody else can get the ball so they called the police on him," the family claimed in the video.
The Winter Park Police Department has since released a statement saying they were called about a "disturbance" between league officials and the player's parents.
"The Winter Park Police Department was contacted by a soccer league official who requested response to a disturbance between league officials and the parents of a player," they said.
"The league requested the family leave and offered to refund the league cost to family. Shortly after arrival, the officers were requested by the league official to communicate with the family as he did not want to further a disturbance."
"The family stated the game was over and they were leaving. The family was cooperative with the officers and were provided with an event number for the incident at their request."
"The incident was a civil matter between those parties and not criminal. No one was arrested, trespassed, or forced to leave the park. The Officers body worn cameras confirm the above information."
A Florida police department is pushing back on claims that officers were called on a 3-year-old soccer player for being “too good” at the game. Winter Park police say a league official called them over a dispute with the boy’s parents, who were reportedly upset about his playing time.
The boy’s mother, Martasia Griffin, says her son was targeted throughout the season because of his talent and was left thinking he had done something wrong. Police say no one was arrested, trespassed or forced to leave the park, while i9 Sports has launched a review of the incident.
