Style for Miles is one of Dr Banana’s labels that continues to push boundaries on dancefloors. This label is focused on sounds both old and new and presses limited vinyl runs.

The Find A Way EP released on Phonica Records in 2022. The British record store turned label has been a consistent force since its opening in 2003.
This LP is by a man who requires no introduction and brings the groove with its title track.
Eli Escobar - FindAWay2Day
Pulp Corn Recordings is a personal favorite anonymous artist-bootleg focused label. Their releases use a wide variety of samples often based in film.
Pulp Corn 007 pays homage to 007 with two records rooted in James Bond samples.
Unknown - Untitled A (aka Special Agent Corn)
Saint Lukez is bringing deep house back to today’s generation on London’s dancefloors. He has been a huge inspiration to me over the last few years.
His collab-take on an old school gem marked his first official pressing last year.

Sunday Sunlight is a deep house gem that I play as the weekend winds down. Night Moves EP on Metaphor from 1999 stays in my afters bag.
This track re-appeared on a House Royalty label, Apollonia, in 2014. No other introduction is needed.

QNQN is a German label focused solely on the music. Since 2016, they have put out limited-run vinyl-only, anonymous records with absolutely no frills or press. Exactly what house music is all about.
QNQN7932 comes packed with three absolute gems.
Unknown Artist - Night Rider
Todh Teri, one of my favorite alias names, crushed this round of edits on The Return of Hari Heart off of Masala Movement Records. Todh, who grew up in Pune and is now based in Berlin, brings his South Asian roots to modern dancefloors.

Opener sets are why I love vinyl. There is nothing more rewarding than building a deep bag of lower energy grooves.
This 2003 record released on the unknown Payola Records, as the unknown artist’s only recorded release, and was repressed in 2021.
Hood Rats - Tha Whack Messiah
Bringing you a record from Hizou, a Swiss label that has a foundation in old school US deep house.
This 2021 record was produced by a legend who started as a DJ for J Dilla’s Slum Village. Hailing from Detroit, he is known as DJ Dez.

Today’s showcase comes from an old school legendary collective, Toka Project. Notably, this group was co-led by the great Andy Riley of Inland Knights.

Kerri Chandler ft E-Man - Brooklyn (Where I Live)
Today’s pick features a promo from 1998. Buzz Groove feat. Heidi off of Unit 5 Records brings the classic UK rave sound but is still a perfect fit for today’s dancefloor.
Day 2’s post features an NY legend, Morgan Geist. Through the 90s and 2000s, Morgan brought his unique sound via his label, Environ.
Off of this 2001 release, 24K transforms a dancefloor with a groovy bassline and strings from Kelley Polar.
This EP was remastered in 2016.
