@usermaynotexist You can’t possibly come away with “they are scared of us, they know they’re losing” after your ppl get sentenced 100+ years. They’re not terrified, they soundly defeated you. And those ppl will suffer while you’re online encouraging more adventurism for the sake of catharsis.
@usermaynotexist I feel sorry for activists/organizers/etc. who can’t look at the state of affairs with clear eyes and realize when they taking tremendous tactical losses. And what’s worse is they’re projecting their own losses onto the state!
@eihtbeezy And what’s perverse about it is that these niggas usually don’t even be puttin in no pain in the fields that they lack intellectual humility in, outside of commentating or podcasts. It’ll come a point soon where hopefully these types become totally irrelevant. I’m sick of it.
@eihtbeezy I stopped engaging with these types years ago for these same reasons. There’s way too many commentator/psuedo-public intellectuals among our community who are not only ignorant but arrogantly push claims that are against long-standing consensus in the fields they opine on.
@4_Ben_Media@eihtbeezy Respectfully bro I think we either js talking past each other or you a little too invested in outdated idealist notions of movement building. We in a totally diff age than the civil rights era. All good tho.
@4_Ben_Media@eihtbeezy I’m saying that the *current* American populace just isn’t prepared economically, logistically, or otherwise to do anything that’s really required to deal with state repression. I’m not making a claim about whether or not the repression is worse today—that’s a different convo.
Whether or not Nicolas Maduro is allotted any semblance of a fair trial will probably be the most significant test of the American judicial system in our lifetimes
@AnthonyGSupreme Storytelling is itself a technical element of lyricism, but ppl view great storytellers in rap as lesser than or something other than “lyricists” just because they don’t tell their stories in complex multi-syllabic rhyme schemes. These ppl just don’t get what hip hop is about imo
@Aj24233@eihtbeezy You gotta be an indeterminist to invoke Plantinga’s free-will defense re the *logical* PoE, so this response precludes determinists like myself. But it doesn’t resolve the problem of natural evils or the evidential/probabilistic PoE. The *logical* PoE is just the 1st step.
