Harry Kane’s 32, married to his childhood sweetheart, got four kids, runs his own mental health charity and quietly donates to the armed forces and mental health causes. Barely drinks, doesn’t smoke, and in 15+ years in the spotlight he’s never had a single scandal. Proper clean living.
On the pitch? Ridiculous numbers. England’s all-time top scorer, Spurs’ all-time top scorer, six Golden Boots (four in the Prem, one at a World Cup). Most strikers could only dream of that.
Yet the bloke still gets written off and disrespected more than anyone in his generation. Gives everything for club and country, never puts a foot wrong off the field. Proper professional.
If you’re after a role model, it doesn’t get much better than Kane. The fact we even have to say it says it all, doesn’t it?
@TRobinsonNewEra@BoyGeorge I don't care what the message is, there are children there for God's sake.. put some clothes on. Any other moment you'd get arrested for indecency.
@CultureCrave@THR I actually agree. Gen Z just don't seem as interested. Superhero movies come from reading comic books in your bedroom and watching Saturday morning cartoons. Gen Z have grown up with social media and I don't think suspension of disbelief is as easy for them
@Fame_0007 The trend is slowly changing. More and more people are beginning to realize how artificial & forced the smear campaign against the SnyderVerse was. And group of people wanting Snyder back (not minority anymore) will keep growing with every new DCU project.
#RestoreTheSnyderVerse
I am having a drink this evening with a friend in a Chiswick pub. Two policemen have just come into the pub and asked me to step outside. I have stepped outside and they have threatened me because I tweeted about a councillor banning seating outside pubs in Chiswick. They admit on video (watch it!) that I did not break the law at all. They came to threaten me. To warn me off tweeting about councillors and the council. This is modern Britain. This is the police state. Please, please, please watch this video. It does involve me using very bad language, but this has got to be seen. Police coming out to threaten someone who hasn’t committed a crime. I’m fuming.
@heelvsbabyface I think they're all going this way tbh it'll be the shape of the entire industry for a while, until a new console emerges in 20 years that uses physical media and blows the bloody doors off
@TheCriticalDri2 Digital has benefits (access, flexibility) but it fundamentally weakens the consumer's position. The preowned market is pretty much already dead. This is the final nail. I'm middle aged but this move targets Gen Z who are digital-first and subscriptions heavy. It's grim.
@jkbaker1117 The CGI in MoS, BVS and ZSJL was objectively (mostly) very good. Snyder has a way with visuals that I've not seen matched really. Yes sometimes his films have pace issues but he's so good at painting pictures I accept the fragmented rhythm as part of my suspension of disbelief
@heelvsbabyface Don't worry guys the same writer is set to do Wonder Woman and Teen Titans 🤷 I don't think it'll get that far. If the next Superman movie is anything less than amazing this universe is toast. Human burned toast.
@cosmicbooknews The argument that the audience has an issue with female led superhero movies is so tired and easily debunked. 60% of the audience were male. The reality is that generally, the movies are just objectively poor. Wonder Woman was decent. I liked that film. More of those please.
