@ElayneOkaya I remember the barriers they had placed outside their embassy pale upperhill and everytime you pass you were stopped and asked stupid questions.
Important context:
- We struggled for months to raise funds
- Only TWO chemicals were tested due to cost
- Many other contaminants remain untested
- This project had no government or corporate funding
It was funded by ordinary citizens who care about public health through out till & a fundraiser
We will soon release results for unga (flour) testing.
As well, what food or substance should we test next?
If you wish to support future independent testing, you can contribute via the same M-Pesa on our pinned tweet or DM for details.
Transparency reports will continue.
Public health should not depend on silence.
@alexmwanzo Makanika you've always been on the right side of things, hapa kidogo ni kama umepotea. Point here is the predatory practices of the said firm and those practices can't be defended anywhere irregardless of what a piece of paper says.
We have to stand up and call for demolition of all hotels built on the wildlife immigration pathways and along the Mara River which are causing distress to our wildlife and threatening to destroy their ecosystem. the @RitzCarlton & others must bring down their structures.
