Like the statement of IBB “if I am sleeping and I hear the Yorubas are beating the drums of war, I will go back to sleep”
Insinuation that Yorubas are barbaric like the Zulus of South Africa is a very incorrect statement and impression, the Yorubas are liberal and even close to a coward in my own ideology, we exercise extreme caution and patience that can be interpreted to timidity.
This is the wrong interpretation of who we are that made Ojukwu hated the on us.
Azikuwe in his Igbo man ideology (with other Igbo leaders) was quick to react to the Fulani state capture and marginalization of the eastern and western region, he expected the Yorubas to fight back against the fulanis immediately but my people in their extreme patience didn’t, he saw this as a sabotage.
Awolowo was more interested in a unitary system that was still buildable then before any of the coup of the 60s, if Zik and Awo had been able to align, maybe we won’t be in this mess today.
The full blown hate originated from the role of Obasanjo during the civil war, Igbos and Yorubas common enemy was the Fulani and still remain same till today.
And until we both find a common goal, we’re not defeating this evil Fulani hegemonies planted by the British.

"South African youth need to start travelling and learning from other African countries." — Minister Ronald Lamola.
Sometimes the best education isn't in a classroom, it's across the border. Africa is full of innovation, entrepreneurship and opportunities.

Find affordable land in a relatively established neighborhood. It doesn’t have to be a full plot. Even 1/4 plot is fine.
Start developing your own 2 or 3 bedroom bungalow.
This is just an advice and not a military edict so don’t come and bite my head off 😁
I am deeply saddened by the passing of Dr. Kola Oweyo, a legendary thespian and scholar of African drama.
His iconic role as King Lapite in the timeless "Saworoide" immortalised his immense talent and teachings.
A great void has been left in Theatre Arts.
He will be sorely missed by lovers of African stories worldwide.
I join his family and fans in mourning this exceptional dramatist and teacher of social conscience. May his soul rest in peace. -AA
No African is illegal in Africa. If you believe that an African can be illegal in Africa then you are not a revolutionary. We must reject the notion of an illegal foreigner. Africans can be undocumented but they cannot be illegal.
