Hello #MedTwitter and #orthotwitter I’m an MS4 at Indiana University interested in pursuing a career in orthopedic surgery! I’m particularly interested in joint replacement and sports medicine! I’ll be applying in #match2022 and I’m looking forward to getting to know all of you⚒
Doctors at a major US insurance company deny tens of thousands of claims a month without even looking at patients’ files.
“We literally click & submit,” a former Cigna doctor told @ProPublica & @Capitol_Forum. “It takes all of 10 seconds to do 50 at a time.”
The inside story 🧵
@gracekazdavie I’d be happy to help if you still need people! I played volleyball at Georgia Tech and I’m a first year orthopaedic surgery resident in Chicago!
@USCIS has been processing my husbands work permit for the past year. Without this document he has been unable to work, apply for a SS card, or even open a bank account. It was approved in mid Oct but returned to sender after @USPS failed to deliver it.
The package was returned to @USCIS a week ago and despite me calling every day to ask them to resend it it has not been sent out. So for the past year my husband has been unable to work and he has to continue to decline job offers because the government cannot get him his card.
Hey #orthotwitter I’m looking for Ortho related podcast recommendations so my commute can double as study/board prep time! I’m open to all recommendations!
